Happiness and Pleasure Hmmn!

These are some of the quotes I have heard from friends, ministers and employers over the years that continually come back to me time and time again.

"Work is the meat of life and pleasure is the desert."

"Two people cannot hate each other if they profess to love God."

"The greatest and noblest pleasure one can have, is to discover new truths, the second is to shake off old prejudices."

"Some people seem to derive a lot of pleasure from being shocked at other people's sins"

"People who's main concern is their own happiness seldom find it"

"It's pretty hard to tell, looking at non-believers what brings them happiness.. wealth and poverty have both failed."

"Money can bring some pleasure, but only to those who find pleasure in earning it.."

"It's true money cannot buy happiness…well not at today's prices"

Your World Is Still A Beautiful Place

The world is still a beautiful place” I constantly have to remind my friends and family of this fact.

The important question is what do we really mean when we say ‘the world’. And what is our relationship with our percieved world and others who dwell within it.
For example a babies toddler’s perspective of  the world is the home and their sole goal is to explore every nook and cranny and touch and taste everything they come across. Whether they achieve this is dependant on the relationship with the people in charge of their world.. ‘The Parents’

We as adults sometimes forget that we still have the opportunity each day to explore and taste what the world has to offer in all it’s glory. We also have to ask ourselves the question who is in charge and what is our relationship with them. Last but not least we are limited by the ability of whom we deem to be in charge of our world.
