The world is still a beautiful place” I constantly have to remind my friends and family of this fact.
The important question is what do we really mean when we say ‘the world’. And what is our relationship with our percieved world and others who dwell within it.
For example a babies toddler’s perspective of the world is the home and their sole goal is to explore every nook and cranny and touch and taste everything they come across. Whether they achieve this is dependant on the relationship with the people in charge of their world.. ‘The Parents’
We as adults sometimes forget that we still have the opportunity each day to explore and taste what the world has to offer in all it’s glory. We also have to ask ourselves the question who is in charge and what is our relationship with them. Last but not least we are limited by the ability of whom we deem to be in charge of our world.
I totally agree. It is so easy to complain about everything and focus on the imperfections in this world. We get so easily overwhelmed by the negative, and frustrated, even angry about the side issues of life… time to listen to the wise words of Ob one kenobi (star wars Jedi master), “Let go luke”. Let go, enjoy and let God!
Great message Ian, I’m off to explore and will be back at my computer soon to do some more writing. Great to meet you the other week. chat soon. Tony
